Annette Adams, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for MGIC. Annette is the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for MGIC, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to joining MGIC in 2020, she spent 19 years at Kohl’s Department Stores as an HR leader with several progressive responsibilities during her time at the organization. . After her breast cancer diagnosis in 2016, she committed her time to supporting the American Cancer Society as a member of the Wisconsin Leadership Board and through various engagements including Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, supporting CEOs Against Cancer and the annual Champions of Hope Gala. Her commitment to ACS grew stronger following the passing of her mother in April 2022 to gallbladder cancer. It is through her experience that the reality of cancer and the breadth of the impact became most profound. Today, as a breast cancer survivor, she shares her story and more importantly the story of the American Cancer Society and the work that ACS continues to advance in our desire to achieve a world free of cancer.
